The purpose of ITSA@GT is to promote the advancement and integration of intelligent transportation systems by fostering the close association of students with the greater transportation profession and ITSA@GT; to acquaint students with topics of interest within the intelligent transportation arena; to promote common interests among students; to encourage the development and/or enhancement of intelligent transportation systems study.

Presentation Title: Traffic Simulation Modeling (Synchro-VISSIM)

Sam gave a very interesting lecture about his traffic modeling experience at GDOT and the impact that simulations have at improving our congested corridors in Atlanta. Congrats to our door prize winners from Austria!

AT&T Drive Studio Tour

We had a great time touring the AT&T Drive Studio and seeing all the great applications in the connected car space.

We had the AT&T Drive team come in and give a talk about connected vehicles and AT&T's role in this growing ITS business market. We had a great turnout, thanks to everyone who came! We hope to see you at the ITSA@GT February meeting!

ITS Georgia came back to tech at the beautiful Ward Law venue overlooking historic Grant Field. We heard from the three Wayne Shackelford scholarship winners talk about connected transportation and the benefits and challenges they pose.

Joining ITSA is FREE, but to have access to our mentor database you must join our parent organization ITSGA as a student member for $25.

It is important that after you join, you forward the confirmation email to our Secretary: Hamza Abbassi ( h i a b b a s i g a t e c h e d u ).

We welcome students of all levels and all disciplines. We want members who enjoy talking about new transportation ideas, research, and businesses.

Our current membership roster features students majoring in ECE, Business, CE, and Public Policy!
